STAY GUIDELINES
Please read the villa’s stay guidelines before booking.
House rules
- Self check-in is from 15:00 to 21:00; check-out is by 10:00. Please contact us in advance if arriving after 21:00.
- Early check-in, late check-out and luggage storage are not available.
- Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited indoors. Please use the designated outdoor area.
- Outdoor areas, including the garden, deck and sauna, are closed from 21:00 to 07:00. Please respect the neighbours and keep noise down.
- Maximum occupancy is 15 guests. Only registered guests may stay. The villa is not a party venue.
- Up to two dogs are allowed; large dogs require prior consultation and other animals are not permitted. Advance notification, consent documentation and vaccination certificates are required. Dog diapers are required indoors. Dogs are not allowed upstairs. See the stay guidelines for full conditions.
- Do not pour water on the sauna heater. Wear swimwear and use a mat. Do not use the sauna after drinking alcohol.
- There is no cleaning or towel/linen replacement during your stay. Please use the washer-dryer.
- Do not enter areas outside the white fence or the staff room beside the ground-floor washroom.
After booking
Read the email sent after booking and register guest information before arrival. Entry instructions are sent by email.
BBQ & fire pit
No reservation or extra charge. Equipment is provided; bring food, seasonings, charcoal, firewood, firelighters and a lighter. Strong winds or heavy rain may prevent use.
Sauna
¥11,000 including tax per group, payable on site by QR code; no reservation required. Closed 21:00–07:00. Do not pour water on the heater. Swimwear and a mat are required. No alcohol-related use, unaccompanied children, food, drinks, outdoor shoes or smoking. The outdoor bath has no water chiller.
Staying with dogs
Up to two eligible dogs are allowed; large dogs require prior consultation. Dogs must be at least four months old, house-trained and not undergoing treatment for illness or injury. Rabies and combination vaccinations covering at least five diseases must be between two weeks and one year old; flea and tick treatment and supporting documents are required. Dogs in heat or pregnant dogs, and animals other than dogs, are not permitted.
Dog areas & supplies
Dogs may use only the ground floor and dog run. Use dog diapers indoors and a cage at bedtime. Bring food, toileting supplies, a cage and other dog supplies. Wash dogs only with the outdoor shower; do not use the indoor or outdoor bath. Clean up waste using bags you bring. Do not leave dogs alone in the villa. Keep the dog-run gate closed.
Additional charges
Late check-out incurs ¥2,000 per 15 minutes. Undeclared pets incur a ¥50,000 cleaning and disinfection charge. Unregistered additional overnight guests incur ¥10,000 per person per night. Damage, loss or removal of equipment is charged at cost.
Lost property & waste
Lost property can be sent only to a Japanese address, with shipping payable on delivery plus a ¥2,000 handling fee. Items may be disposed of after six months without contact. Take bulky waste such as suitcases with you; leaving it incurs a ¥10,000 disposal fee.
Surroundings
Insects may be present in this rural setting. Neighbouring construction or everyday activities may also be audible.
Prices & cancellation
For direct bookings, cancellations made until 5 days before check-in receive a full refund. Cancellations from 4 days before check-in and no-shows incur 100% of the accommodation charge.
